Under GDPR, your membership organisation must document its processing activities (Article 30).

Using Bizoneo, we process data on behalf of your membership organisations.

• We do not use your data for our needs.
• We don't track any of your data.
• We have a comprehensive data protection agreement that is aligned with the requirements of Art 28 of GDPR.
• We process data entirely in the EU, so there is no data adequacy required to transfer any of your data outside the EU.
• We only use EU-owned cloud infrastructures.

We provide an infrastructure for your members that does its best to protect their personal data as well as the personal data of your staff.

• Being based in the EU, Bizoneo are - like your membership organisation - required (and happy) to comply with the principles laid out in Art 5 of the GDPR.
• We should be able to demonstrate that we process your data:
  • in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner
  • within the limit of the purpose
  • to the bare minimum to fulfill the purpose
  • accurately
  • with storage limitation
  • ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the data

We have many reminders within the system to remind your team of their requirements,

• However, we are not responsible for the manner in which your organisation - the data controller - processes data.
  For instance, Bizoneo Membership allows you to add tags to ease servicing your members or fields in which you can save notes. If one of your team members stores inapropriate data, there is little we can do. A bit like driving a fast car above the speed limits.

If needs be, our team can provide additional services to assist your organisation with its GDPR compliance

• with our certified data protection specialists, but we are also happy to work with your advisers.

If you need specific support, with your permission, some of our team members may log in to assist you. All logins are recorded and our staff must indicate why they log in.

We have security implemented at various levels:

• Application and databases are hosted on separate servers;
• Clients are managed in isolation both at application and database levels; 
• We use TLS 1.2 to encrypt the traffic between your browser and the Bizoneo control panel;
• All data is stored on encrypted hard-drives;
• We have firewalls in place; 
• We patch our servers following the recommendations of our operating sytem, database, and application providers;
• We perform a minimum of one daily back-ups of our servers and of the data;
• We test the back-ups regularly;
• We train our staff on a regular basis;
• We have third parties auditing our infrastructures.

In our entry-level offer, we back-up databases once a day in an encrypted format. Backups are stored off-site and kept for a set period of time.

To ensure they can be restored, backups are randomly tested at regular intervals.

We also store daily server snapshots.

We can also tailor backups to your specific needs.

When you come on-board, we'll issue a data-processor agreement with your organisation that includes further information.

We support a number of payment gateways. For those payment gateways, you have to enter some IDs in the Bizoneo control panel and that's it, we do the rest.

And we can integrate most other payment gateways.

Your organisation owns the data and files that you have stored.

You can retrieve your data in Word or Excel format and files out of the system anytime.

Bizoneo supplies and owns the infrastructure.

Bizoneo Membership allows some data to be imported from Excel or CSV formats.

We also operate a fee-based service to help your organisation migrate data from legacy systems.
